Community Engagement
Unite Mississippi encourages unity and positive change through community empowerment in the state of Mississippi. Many of the Unite Mississippi Board Members serve community members as pastors and spiritual leaders at various churches in the Greater Jackson Metro area. In addition, Board members have also served Mississippi communities through different areas of law enforcement from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, and Jackson Police Department to the Mississippi Supreme Court. Unite Mississippi provides spiritual nourishment through daily devotions found on social media platforms; faith-based podcasts with listeners from across the globe; monthly Unite Mississippi equipping luncheons which bring the Body of Christ together to inspire and encourage worship and discipleship; and the organization, leading and participation in community prayer groups.
Unite Mississippi participates in youth mentorship in local schools sharing with at-risk students about the love and acceptance of Christ. Through these programs, over 300 students in the tri-county area have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Unite Mississippi helps feed the homeless and meet the needs of the underserved through various community outreach programs.
Unite Mississippi is spiritually invested in sharing the love of Christ and growing disciples in the state of Mississippi, with the desire to transform and bring about revival in all 82 counties.
